> The arts room is upstairs at the front of the building. This room would have been the Victorian drawing room of the original house, and its window gives a fine view of the chancel of St. James' church, ("perhaps the best Perp work in Colchester", according to Dr. Pevsner), directly opposite. It is also a great place to watch the world go by. We have deliberately put our architecture department next to the window and, as this room has so much natural light, it seemed appropriate to display the rest of our art stock here as well. > Below is a list of subjects in this room.
